Aside from running my mouth a lot, raising my two children as vegan, and being vegan myself I haven't done much for the movement but I am ready to start.

So far the only things I've read on this subject are Animal Liberation by Peter Singer, and Free the Animals by Ingrid Newkirk. I enjoyed them both very very much.

I think everyone needs to be educated. If you consume it, you should see every process it had to go through to reach the store from which you buy it. Broadcast Earthlings...what's so horrible about Earthlings??? What's so horrible about Earthlings is that it's the TRUTH...and YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!! |

if you register, you can lookup vegan/vegetarian groups in your area. Or fellow enthusiasts of whatever it is that gets you all enthused and the like.
This is how I got into contact with the local Kucinich supporters. Unfortunately, the closest vegan meetup group to me is still an hour away, but when I get my time better organized that won't be such an issue.
